A trial version of Office 2007 was pre-installed on my newly bought laptop.
However, I was unable to uninstall it using Add or Remove Programs. I used
the Microsoft Help and Support article
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=928218) to uninstall it manually. But
then, after a good couple hours of uninstallation, I was left with the
Activation Assistant. Trying to uninstall it, it says that I must have Office
2007 to 'install' the AA. Can anyone tell me which directories and registry
keys AA is in so I can manually uninstall it as I did with the trial of
Office 2007? Thank you.

Forgot to add that I'm running Vista on a Sony Vaio.

Install the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility and remove the office
Activation Assistant.
