Anyhow, the person I spoke to was nice enough to ask others and they have no
idea that there is an issue, so she wrote an e-mail to her manager asking to
have the issue escalated. I refered to this discussion forum and indicated
all pertinent details. Hopefully someone at MS with the ability to fix the
issue, will get the escalation, read this and get it taken care of.
Good luck to all of us who now have useless installs of Office 2007 until
the activation gets fixed... and on a side note... The Register
(www.theregister.com) is aware of this issue and it will become known to all
around the world as soon as they write up a little article on it. Maybe that
will light a fire under the right persons a$$.
