NetMeeting

Sorry, I know, I'm not right in this group, but in german
NetMeeting group I didn't got results. My NM is working
perfectly. Only one thing dont't work. Is when I click on
an link "callto:..." it should be open the NM. At all my
friends pc work it. Only on mine not. I think I got this
problem after installed the phone program Skype. I
uninstalled it without results. To an "backup" (I don't
know the english word) didn't help. What can I do for get
the NM to reunderstand the html tag "callto:"?
The error is nearly: "in internet explorer is wrong
mapping..." But in IE in internet options and programms
is for internet calls NetMeeting.

Greetings lipo,

I actually noticed this myself when I installed Skype and developed a fix to correct it.

To fix this, close Skype and Netmeeting, then download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/netmdefault.reg

After this, it should work as it did before.
