If Microsoft is listening...... I too have been using the portfolio since
1995, through of the changes and updates, it only got better. And now it's
going to go away.

PLEASE DO NOT RETIRE THESE GREAT INVESTMENT TOOLS that you have created and
many many people use on a regular basis.
Thank you,

I agree with all of you the product should not retire.
It iseasy to use, multi-money. View are perfect.
I do not see yet what sliverlight bring to this new version.
I have been using the 2004 version in French since years with sync to the
Investment tools.
We are only looking to gat more stock quotes from other sotes.
That's all we need

I offered them to pay for the service a few years ago because it was, and
still is, the best. Never got an answer from them.

Please consider bringing the deluxe portfolio back from "retirement" I have
been using for 10 + years and don't know of any other product that comes
close. Do not like preview offered. Unable to track cash accounts. Why
would MSN do such a thing? I never saw a reason stated. New is not improved
in my opinion.

ANOTHER SNAFU BY MICROSOFT!
I HAVE BEEN USING MSN PORTFOLIO MANAGER EVER SINCE INCEPTION - THE BEST
THERE WAS!
NOW - PREVIEW AND ESSENTIALS GIVE NOTHING; BLOODY USELESS PROGRAMS; WASTE OF
MY PRECIOUS TIME.
BILL GATES WOULD TURN IN HIS GRAVE...OH, HE'S NOT DEAD YET? LOOKS AS IF HE'S
GONE TO SLEEP ON THIS ONE.

Without the Deluxe Screener's export capability, is there any reason to
bother with M$N? I can't think of one. UnBFinlievable... only Mr Softie
could toss out the shining star of their otherwise indifferent offering.

Hi - I have been looking very hard for an alternative to Portfolio Deluxe and
finally found it. It's call StockWhip by Dark Turtles. It manages all the
portfolios and consolidates handling multiple currencies, exchanges and %
variances over multiple time . It is, I think much better than portfolio
deluxe and I don't say that lightly.

Good luck and Bi Bi Microsoft

Does it offer as powerful a mutual fund screener capability as the MSN
investment toolkit?

I AGREE! I can't find a mutual fund screener that comes close to the one
offered in the MSN Investment Toolkit.

At least they should suggest a replacement in their announcement - and
Portfolio Manager product doesn't offere screener capabilities.

By the way, I have sent feedback to inve...@microsoft.com
Maybe if they get posts from enough folks, they will listen.

I agree with everyone here. I've been using this for MANY years. I
need a portfolio manager tool that will track interest on cd's as
well
as stocks and mutual funds. I've never understood why economists
distinguish between savings and investments. I move money freely from
one to the other depending on expected performance, and consider
"savings" to be a legitimate component of one's investment portfolio.

The new Porfolio Manager is a step backwards in the wrong direction . It
substracts from what they had before. For all these years I had been
supporting and defending Microsoft for many of its actions........this one is
impossible to justify.
Please get back what you had before, this new thing is unsusable. It tok
away at least five functionalities that were very, very , very useful.
Is anybody from Microsoft reading this........or they are just watching and
wondering why the value of the company is gradually eroding?

I agree with everyone here -- I can't live without my deluxe toolbox!
