work around exporting data

With the new portfolio I hit the "print portfolio" button and when the
print preview came up I highlighted and copied the data and then pasted
it into an excel spread sheet.

You don't get all the data on one line in the print preview mode but any
additional data appeared below the main data.

Better than nothing.

Is it too much to ask Microsoft to add a clean export feature to another
one of their programs?

You could transfer your old Deluxe portfolio data to Microsoft Money
or Quicken.
