what's the money authentication?

i had no problem with the previous portfolio toobox. i'm having painful
experience with the portfolio manager. the message ("MSN Money was unable to
authenticate you. Click OK to refresh the page and try again") is shown up
when i try to open that webpage. i did many times for refreshing the page,
but the above message block me to go further. any clues for fixing this
problem?

You are not alone. I have this same problem on my new laptop which runs
Vista. I've contacted tech support but they have not been able to determine
what is wrong.

I finally figured it out. It took hours on the phone with Microsoft... Delete
all you cookies and history. Then MAKE SURE YOUR PC CLOCK is set correctly.
Mine was off a day and that is what was causing the problem. Good luck!

was the trick.

Are you saying re-set the clock back to before MS discontinued our old
program ?

p.s...Does anyone know the link to the web-based "Newsgroups" like
this one ?
