I have Money H&B (latest version - Money Plus 2008) and it has been running
fine. I even used it this morning but now when I try to start it I get the
screen about the Money Online Services Policy. I check that I accept then I
get a screen that says "Money was unable to load the registration library
(dll). I then check OK and it does not run.

I am not in a position to reinstall Money until tomorrow, but I wan't your
thoughts on what might have caused the problem and if the reinstall will
correct the problem.

Thanks

I was able to get home to try to fix this problem.

I uninstalled Money HB (Plus Version) and then reinstalled. When I
installed I got a message that it could not find "eularegn.dll", so I went to
the web and found a copy (no idea if it is the right program or right
version) and allowed Money to install it and got the normal message about
successful installation. When I tried running Money HB I got the Online
Service Policy message and I checked Okay then then Money program disappeared
and is not running.

I need your help, Please.

The problem is resolved with the help from Microsoft support.

Spysweeper has a new version which interacts poorly with Money. The
solution for me was to disable Spysweeper, reinstall Money then reenable
Spysweeper. I have not yet done a new sweep but Microsoft says this should
fix the problem.

Interesting how many tech support people at Mircrosoft are unaware of this.
See the respone I received from a tech support rep. Not sure he even read my
email. To make matters worse, he even offers that I can correct him if he is
wrong in his understanding of the issue, except there is no way to reply to
his email!!!

doing great!
To give the most accurate support possible, I would like to give a brief

You get an error message once you try to open Money.
If I have misunderstood the issue, please don't hesitate to let me know.

install it once more. I have listed the steps for you to be able to remove
/reinstall Microsoft Money:

Firther to my response about SpySweeper. Once I did a sweep, the problem
reappeared. SpySweeper has since updated its software and once I updated the
software and defination files the problem no longer appears.

I sent this issue to Webroot (Spy Sweeper) and they replied with some
instructions which included an uninstall program and instructions to
reinstall (Spy Sweeper). I followed all of the instructions and ended up with
the same problem?

Oh and by the way MS responded to my SECOND request for help, and if you can
believe it they closed my second reply as a duplicate of the first. And the
person "Juan Campos" did not explain how I could reply to the first tech rep
nor can I reply to Juan asking how I can reply to George. Talk about
frustrating!!

Not sure how the suggested changes below would fix the problem?

I believe that the definition updates changed what Spysweeper idenifies as a
virus.

If you go into the quarenteed items in Spysweeper, and unquarentine the
"virus" which controls eularegn.dll and then tell Spysweeper to ignore that
"virus" it is a temporary fix. The "virus" is something like Virtual. I
don't really understand why the instructions that I posted that I got from
Spysweeped won't fix your problem when it fixed mine.

Go to findmyorder.com and download the install file now. Then burn
it onto a CD or DVD. Keep that in case you later want to reinstall
Money. Mark the CD/DVD with your key that you will need to activate.
