Sync problems with money 2005 UK

I'm using Money 2005 (UK version) on Windows 7 pro (x64). I have Money 05 for
PocketPC installed on a HTC TouchPro2 running WinMob 6.5.

WMDC 6.1 is installed, and under the content sync settings I see that
'Microsoft Money data' is ticked, but when I sync, I get an error in Sync
Results saying 'Microsoft Money Data: attention required', yet there are no
error messages on my TP2.

I cannot get Money on the PDA to display a list of accounts. I'm guessing
there may be some incompatibilities, and I know Money and the PDA component
isn't supported anymore.
I've tried using other products like SPB Finance, but had too many problems
with it.

Any thoughts?

I think there was talk about it showing the '$' sign rather than the
pound currency symbol. There is a free 30-day evaluation version.
