I use Windows2000 and have set up various programs in the
Start menu with shortcut keys (I'm a keyboard man). I can
launch Calculator, for example, by pressing Ctrl+Alt+C
within any application. I go into the properties of a
Start menu item and set its shortcut key value there.
What I've learned is that when Money 2003 is running,
using Windows shortcut keys now results in that program
taking 5-20 seconds longer to open. I can launch
Calculator manually from the Start menu and it opens
without a hitch while Money 2003 is running. Only when I
use the shortcut key to open an app does this occur. I
have also duplicated the error with other Windows
accessories, such as Windows Explorer (which I have set up
with Ctrl+Alt+E).
When Money 2003 is closed, the problem does not exist and
I can use shortcut keys to launch apps without the delay.
I did not experience this problem with Money 2000 and am
wondering if anyone else can dupe the issue???
