My credit union recently went on-line. I treied to set up online banking,
but the wizard (after calling) indicated there was no data for my bank. Who
should y bank contact so that I and the other Money users can use the online
banking feature? In the alternative, how can I use downloaded account
information to automatically update accounts?? Not much held in on-line FAQs
I've read. thanks,

You should be able to get the file directly from your bank. Contact them
and ask for instructions.

I know I can get the files from the bank; they're available in Quicken, text
or comma delimited fornat. The question is how do I use them to
automatically balance my accounts.

When I tried to setup online banking, the setup wizard checked the site at
Microsoft and noted no data were available for my bank. I manually checked
as well. Thus, I couldn't set up online banking.

Now I'm stuck. My manual, online help, Microsoft site, thrird-party book,
and the FAQs (official/unofficial) dont't seem to help.

My bottom line is: how do I either (1) enable online banking or (2) use
downloaded data to balance my accounts.

Many thanks for past help.

If your bank makes the data available on its website for downloading and its
in *.qif format, then you can download it and import the *.qif file into
Money. When you choose the Import option on the File menu, you would select
your downloaded file, then tell Money which account you want the imported
information to be brought into. I hope this helps.
