Hello,

I am using Money 2007 deluxe. I cannot seem to find a report similar to
"Investment Transactions" that allows one to specify the activity as that
report does, but also totals the transactions. Is there a report available
for that? Seems pretty simple. I am not interested in the Portfolio
performance reports.

Thanks,

I don't think so. You could copy a report into a spreadsheet, and
total things up there.

The Tax-related transactions can subtotal by Categories, and one of
those categories is Dividends. Interest is another.

The capital gains report may be useful, but that is not what you are
asking for.

Seems like this is yet another example of the product being 'dumbed down'.

Is it practical for you to revert to an earlier version of Money?

You imply that your Money 2001 can do what he asks. I doubt that it
can. But if it can in your version, what report would you modify and
how?

If Money 2007 Deluxe can produce Investment Transaction reports I was wrong;
but if it can't then something useful seems to have been lost.

Money 2000 can certainly generate Investment Transaction reports which can
be customised by Activity and filtered in other ways
To be sure, there is no total figure displayed at the bottom of the Price,
Commission or Total columns.
However the report can be exported to make a PDF file, copy and paste into
Excel, convert Text to Column, and sum column.

Account Balance History reports based on transactions appearing in the cash
portion of an investment account certainly do produce bottom line totals.

BBran produces that report successfully as it was designed, but he
wanted one that would do some kind of totaling of the transactions
also. I don't know exactly how that kind of totaling he would work,
but I think Money 2007 is pretty much the same as Money 2001 in that
aspect.
