Customer has MS Money Essential which he purchased online & is not able to
restore a file of Money Plus in Money Essential. He is looking for support on
his issue.
There is not MS money support available in India.

Money Essentials cannot open files from any other program, even other
versions of Money.
Return Essentials and get Money Deluxe.

From
http://www.microsoft.com/money/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=002&active_tab=Compare
at the bottom:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Important note – Microsoft Money Essentials will not be able to
open previous Money (Money Deluxe, Money Premium, or Money Home &
Business) or Quicken files. If you are upgrading from a previous
version of Money or Quicken, Money Plus Deluxe may be the right
solution for you.

I agree this doesn't address explicitly the ability to open an M+Deluxe file
or restore from an M+Deluxe backup file in MEss. But I'd strongly suspect the
answer is the same.
