We just upgraded from MapPoint 2006 to MapPoint 2010 and we are having some
very annoying problems with color of the scales in the legend. When we are
mapping something with 5 different levels (5 different colors) MapPoint will
only map 4 levels (in only 4 different colors) and it will group the fifth
group with the fourth group. This is a very annoying problem as it is
incorrectly labeling information on the map. Does anybody have similar
problems and if so what are you doing to deal with it?

Thanks!

Just spent an hour on the line with tech support who said that they no longer offer gradient data mapping with 2010. Say what??? What's the point of having mapping software. Gaurav was my tech and insisted there was nothing wrong with this product. I then pulled up previous maps from the 5 years I have been using it ans showed him what it is suppose to do. I also told him the box that the software came in also had gradient mapping on it.

I was also telling him how to use the product, but then he then showed me how to switch from red to purple insisting nothing was wrong. My legend was correct, but it was still mapping all in one color. BUT nothing is wrong and maybe they will bring this functionality back in 2011 MapPoint, but this is how MapPoint 2010 was suppose to work.

I also can't get it to map territories except for importing. The manual territory feature isn't working, but we never got to that.

I am going to try to return this and get 2006 or another version.

The worst tech support experience of my life!
