I found this on another site: "Virtual PC on a Mac Sync, I’m sending this for other who need to sync with Virtual PC on their Mac. This is how I did it.I’m have the following sys Mac G5 OS 10.4.2 Virtuall PC 7.02 using Windows XP pro, I have a Treo 650 Cingular. I put a Belkin USB Bluetooth Adapter F8T001 into a USB port on the G5 (not thru a hub) - pair USB Adapter with your Mac. You will need to pair your Treo 650 to the Bluetooth adapter on the G5. After you pair Treo 650 with Mac then Go into the Bluetooth preferences on the Mac and Add a serial port and select the Type to be RS-232. Then go in the Virtual PC application go to the drop down menu - PC - and drop down to select PC Settings... on the PC Settings window select COM2 Port and make select the radio button for Mac Serial Port - then make the Type to be Bluetooth PDA sync - tell it OK. Then go to Windows XP and select your HotSync Manager (bottom right icon) and go up and select Local, then go up on the icon menu bar again to Setup and select the Local Tab & make it COM2 set your speed to 9600 for the 1st time, 19200 is the fastest I could get it to go, 9600 may be better for data backups. Don’t forget to tell you Mac HotSync software NOT TO SYNC or your Mac HotSync will take over. On your handheld you will need to get to the HotSync screen then tap on the menu button (just above the Red End button & the Mail button). On the Options menu to to Connection & select the computer your paired with. Tap on the Edit button Connect to should be PC, Via needs to be Bluetooth, then Tap the Details button Speed set to 9600 and Flow Ctl is Automatic. Then OK and Done buttons your way back to the HotSync screen. Give it a try. You will be syncing via BLUETOOTH. It worked for me."
I did something similar and use com 1 at a very low speed (9600). I went in to vpc settings and configued com port 1 to use my apple bluethooth. The header is Bluethooth-PDA-sync. Then you must go in to Hotsync - setup - local - select com port 1 and I use the slowest speed (9600) and It work slowly. When I tried to use a faster speed, Hotsync crashed.
