Hello,

I am looking for information on Office 2008 compatibility with SharePoint.
Which features are Mac users going to miss, compared to Windows users having
Office 2007 and Internet explorer 7?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Chris!

Have a look at this page on Microsoft's site
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/macbu/default.aspx?pid=newsandpress>.
Unfortunately, this is about as much as you'll find. To date, I haven't
seen anything about SharePoint support.

Be sure to let Microsoft know that you'd like to see this feature by
using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism in any Office:mac application.

Hope this helps! bill

Hi Chris:

Those who know are not allowed to tell us. Those who tell us, don't know!

That said, my guess is that Mac Office 2008 users will need to use
SharePoint via a browser only. I doubt if there will be any integration at
all: they will need to check things out in the browser, work on them, then
upload and check them back in using the browser again.

I hope I am wrong...
