A curiosity question from a novice.... Anyone know why several (found 4 or 5) of my Word documents would change to "Uniix Executable Files" and when opened would present a login to Terminal? The modified dates for most are several months ago for 4 of them and one last week. Thanks for any info.

Fonts "Proceed With Caution"?

Font Book verification consistently says, "38 minor problems were found. Proceed with caution". Permissions repair and font cache cleaning makes no difference. Hence, a few questions: 1) what effect do these "minor problems" have on anything; 2) is there something I've not done that will clear up the problem; and 3) if need be, and replacing the "problem" fonts with... more »

When I created word files on my mac using Word 2008, pc users that I send the file to are only able to view the first two pages upon opening. I get the same result when trying to open the files on my word 2007 version through my Mac using the Parrallel program to access the windows OS. Hi! I sell downloadable forms, and sometimes people will purchase and download the form, and then dispute the purchase with their CC company. I automatically lose because I'm selling a non-tangible product. I was going to delete Office X now that I've been using Office 2008 for a month or so. Any reason not to delete? Any "best" way to remove Office X related files that aren't needed by Office 2008? Thank you.
