That's pretty diagnostic. There are two conditions that could be affecting
this.
The first could be that the file is corrupt, or "read-only". If it is
corrupt, one or more paragraphs can go read-only. In which case you should
Maggie the file.
How are you opening it? If the file is marked as Stationery, when you open

No sane person would convert a PDF back to a Word document. A PDF doesn't
contain sufficient information to make a Word document out of it.
They'll just email you and ask for the Word original.
Far quicker to do that, than to print it out, walk to the other end of the
office to get it, find a pencil to fill it in with, walk to the other end of

We have reported the site to the Police, but Interpol takes a minute or two
to take the site down, because they need to collect evidence (sites like

Hi Norm:
Run the Remove Office tool before you do anything else. It's in the
Application folder.
Then get into the MUD and clean out everything except the CURRENT Entourage
identity.
THEN install the later version. Expect a lengthy pause on the first start,
because it needs to convert the Entourage Database and rebuilt the font

If I understand what you're looking for you need only Control/Right-Click
the file name in the file window's title bar... But this is nothing new in
Snow Leopard. If that isn't what you mean you'll have to be a lot clearer
about what "option in finder" you're referring to.

Viewing and Deleting Styles in Word 2008

1. If you are working on a document based on your Normal template, does
switching to All Styles in fact show all styles defined in Word 2008
whether built in or one's you have defined?

I have a file that will not save a couple of things to it. I'm changing the
font in one paragraph from 16p to 12pt. I make the change I click save and
close out of the file. I reopen the file and the font for that paragraph is
still at 16. Don't get it -- never seen this before. Also wont remember to

I noticed with Snow Leopard there is now an option in finder to see the path
of where the file came for
I would love to see this in Word or Excel files. Is this now possible?

List Paragraph Style needs a List Style?

In creating a list paragraph style ...... well with John McGhie creating
a list paragraph style and I'm following his directions in his post... I
created a list style. (Is "list paragraph style" the correct
terminology?)
John's summary of his directions is quoted at the bottom of this post.
So now I'm curious, why doesn't my list paragraph style definition

Back from a vacation to the Midwest.... we were trying to find colder

The form when created is supposed to be turned into a PDF which is then
turned in to a PDF Form. I'll have to experiment with making individual
one one line tables. and see how that works out. Why anyone would want
to take a PDF and convert it back to a word Document I'll never know.
