Chart data sheet always opens full-screen. Can I change this?

I use the charting option in PPT 2011 a lot. Every time I start a new chart the data spreadsheet opens full screen, covering everything else I have open. I always have to resize the window before continuing, and on a larger screen this is a frustration. If I want to edit the chart at a later date, again the data sheet opens full screen, irrespective of how it was when colsed in the previous session.

Question 1- I have Excel 2010 and files in .xlsx but the code only reads .xlx files.How to change and so I can use .xlsx files?

How do it, PowerPoint does not pass to the next slide, when I click the

I am using Powerponit 12.2.7 (100910) on a Macbook pro running Mountin
Lion.

is there a way to keep the slideshow displaying on the external (VGA)
display while switching to another app in the presenter's screen?

I dislike how it turns the presentation off just because I make a quick
change in some other app.

I have 9 multiple choice/true&false questions that I need recorded for each person who takes the quiz.

Create a text box.
Format the box with font, colour, etc.
right click on the box
choose set as default shape...

To enter mathematical equations or expressions into a PowerPoint
presentation, I often use Maple, a mathematics program, for preparation.
When Maple presents these expressions on-screen, they appear to have the
typeset format found in typical mathematical publications. I use a
screenshot application, usually Grab, to make a graphic object to paste

i had the same question. unfortunately it doesn't appear to be a feature in powerpoint 2011 for mac.

I am very interested in this functionality as well. Exactly as described. Grow/Shrink doesn't do this since it is temporary size change. Any ideas?

Changing between Simplified and Traditional Chinese fonts on Office Mac 2008 and 2011?

Hello.

In Mac OS X 10.5.8 and 10.8.2, how does one change between Simplified
and Traditional Chinese characters/fonts? When highlighting Chinese
characters and changing to another one (Traditional to Simplified or
Simplifed to Traditional), they do not get changed at all in updated MS
Office for Mac 2008 and 2011 (Word and PowerPoint).
