That confirms what I suspected. Spotlight needed to reindex the
database.
mds and mdworker are two Spotlight-related processes.

Is there anyway to create folders in Entourage so that I can separate
Clients for Personal. When I sync with my iPhone all contacts come across
into one folder. I have been able to do this in Outlook by creating
subfolders in contacts and when I sync my iPhone and then have my contacts
separated. I canï¿½t seem to figure this out with Entourage.

This is usually a result of the server being reset. Often when they do an
upgrade to security settings, you�ll get multiple downloads again because
the message IDs are reset when the server is reset. Entourage uses the ID to
know what's been downloaded.

The icon is not available in 2008. Sorry! There is no way to make a custom
icon to add to the tool bar. Your only option is to use the Menu bar to
select this option or revert to 2004.

The searches are performed through Spotlight. I suspect the database
wasn't properly reindexed after the rebuild.
Use the Entourage preferences to force-reindex the database.

I use a convention of labeling certain incoming messages if they need
action, so I can later search for everything that carries this label.
(GTDers will recognize this.)
I then created a Saved Search where:
[Match all criteria if] [Category] [Is] [Current]
This used to work perfectly. I could click on the saved search and see

When you did this in Outlook was this prior to the change over in Sept to
POP? The only way I know to do this now is to forward your Hotmail to Gmail.
They offer IMAP accounts. Gmail can receive as individual folders.

Problem downloading old messages left on server

I have been having an intermittent problem where entourage downloads all the
messages left on my Internet service provider's server, even though they
have already been downloaded. I have a pop account. It only happens once
every month or so.

You lost your account? The entire Mac account? You have much bigger
problems than just Entourage. You really need to check your hard drive
for problems (use DiskUtility, booting from the MacOS X install DVD),

1mb attachment freezes up computer

Someone sent me an attachment 1mb.
When click on email, whole program freezes up for few minutes. is this a bit odd? don't rememer that happening before. thanks.
