Hi there everyone,

I am sending this email question because I am desperate to get this issue resolved. Anytime I send an Entourage invitation out to someone and they accept the event through their desktop, shortly thereafter the event appears in their Blackberry (as expected) but it appears ALWAYS 7 hours earlier than what the invitation states. So for instance, if I send my boss an invitation to accept a conference call on a Tuesday at 12pm, after accepting the event on their desktop, the event goes into my bosses Blackberry as a being Tuesday at 5am... Which puts me in the hot seat. I’m not on an Exchange server and I’ve check the time zones countless times on my desktop, Entourage, the Blackberry’s – nothing gives. When I/they accept invites from an outside source, no problems.

SO, I’ve contact Blackberry and they’re no help, and our webserver ppl have no idea what’s going on either... Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I’d like to not get fired ;)

Sincerely,

Adria

Check if you and your boss (if he's using Entourage) are up to date in Entourage, make sure it is up to 11.3.5. To check the version go to Entourage and about Entourage. To get your updates click on help and check for updates.

Hi Adria!

If you're not using an Exchange Server then what method is your boss
using to get his desktop calendar items onto his Blackberry? Does the
event appear correctly on his desktop? What platform is your boss using
(Mac or Windows)?

We're not on an exchange server. When i sync up the blackberry with
entourage it fixes its time. This only when the blackberry accepts a
new event from the phone.

Hi Bill,

I use PocketMac to sync my bosses calendar events - basically I just hook up
their Blackberry's to my MacBook and sync that way. If the events come from
another outside source (someone using Outlook to send me/my boss a calendar
event), it goes into their desktop perfect. But when I send an invitation
for an event from my computer, it filters through incorrectly. It's not a
server issue, because they don't control time-stamping... We are all Mac
users here. Any ideas?

Adria

Hi Adria!

I see the latest version of PocketMac is 4.0.20b (beta?), which can be
downloaded here <https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/>. Are you using
this or an older version that may have come with your Blackberry?

Have you looked into another application such as Missing Sync to see if
it too shows a time difference?
