I have just updated to Office 2004. In Entourage it seems to
automatically have a pop up window at the bottom right corner when a
new message is received. I like that, BUT, I have multiple email
accts. One of which is an Exchange Server for work. The Exchange
automatically forwards all emails to different email that I can access
also. This forward setting is setup in the office. X did not allow me
to access the work exchange outside of the office network. 2004 does!!

My problem is: I am getting that great pop up window when the Exchange
Acct. receives an email. I then also get it a few minutes later when
my forwarded acct. receives the message.
I have tried to setup a rules that states the following:
ALL Criteria Is Meet
ACCT. / IS / name of exchange acct.
STATUS / IS / UNREAD
ACTION:
DO NOT NOTIFY

It does not work. How do I turn off the notification for JUST the
Exchange Acct. ??

Thanks in advance,
Drew

Turn the notification off for all entourage in the preferences, then set a
rule for each account to 'notify'. This can be a pass-through rule, set at
the top of the rules list for that type of account that checks the account
of every incoming message and will notify the user. The rule should be set
to allow subsequent rulles to act on caught messages.

I have just realized I was creating the rule in the Email section and
NOT the Exchange section. Now my Do Not Notify Rules works
