Does Entourage 2004 have a place to enter a Display Name? This field,
available on Outlook Web Access (for each contact) and in Outlook,
would be very useful to update from the Mac client side. It would come
in most handy if you sent email from OWA and then viewed the sent item
later in Entourage. If there is no Display Name filled in, it simply
shows the email address.

You can always update this field on the server using OWA, but it would
be easier to do it with Entourage.

The Display Name is just the First and Last Name you enter for each contact.

If you are talking about the display name for your account (return address)
it is the "Name" field in your account.

In outlook there is an additional field called 'Display Name' which dictates
how the name will appear in an email address field. So, you can set a
contact to have a name "Bob Smith", but to appear in an email address field
as "Smith, Bob (Head Office)"

Unfortunately there is no such functionality in Entourage.

You can send feedback to the developers on this issue. Use the last menu
item under the 'Help' menu - "Send Feedback on Entourage". This message will
go directly to the developers. The more people that request this feature the
more likely it is to be implemented.

Thanks Barry. You explained it better than I did. Will do.
