Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop Hi, I just bought my first mac - the new imac - and set up a number of reminders from emails, calendar and tasks. None of them show in the alert window when they are due until I restart - then they all come up. I'd rather send my mac to sleep instead of shutting down & restarting every day, just to get my reminders. Am I doing something wrong?

This is not normal behavior.

When the reminder window pops up, how are you closing or dismissing the
window?

Are you creating a task or event? Are you setting a reminder?

- When several reminders come up, I'll deal with some but not others. For each one I deal with, I click the 'Dismiss' button once, laving the remaining reminders outstanding. The window then stays on the desktop, with me hoping it will refresh itself, except it doesn't.

- When I set a reminder from an email, I flag it as a To Do item - Add Reminder - and set the Start Date, Due Date & Reminder Date to the same date. I set the reminder time to 09:00.
- When I create a Task, I do the same thing: set the Start Date, Due Date & Reminder Date to the same date and the reminder time to 09:00. I use a mixture of Once Only and recurring tasks.
- Similarly, when I set a Calendar entry, I set the Start & End Dates to the same date, the Start time to 090:00, End time to 09:30 & set the Reminder to 15 minutes. I use a mixture of Once Only and recurring calendar events.

Office Reminders is switched 'on' at the Entourage level.
