I am running Windows XP Professional SP3, and IE 7.
The following security undates fail to install:
Cumulative Security update for Activex Killbits for Windows XP (KB950760)
Security Update ofr Windows XP (KB950762)
Cumulative Security Update for IE 7 for Windows XP (KB950759)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB951376)
If these updates are critical, how can I force them to install? If they are
not critical, how can I stop the update manager from constantly reminding me
that I need to install these updates? I don't want to turn off the automatic
updates, but I can't figure out how to remove this reminder. It is on the
taskbar, and on the shutdown window whenever I go to shut down my computer
from time to time.
Thanks for any help and suggestions anyone might have.

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft
Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you perform a new Windows XP
installation or you repair a Windows XP installation

NB: Also applies to Upgrade installs, and Recovery installs.

Tip: Temporarily disable real-time protection by your anti-virus and/or
anti-spyware applications (e.g., CounterSpy, Spysweeper, Spybot Tea Timer,
AVG Anti-Spyware) and/or any third-party firewall (e.g., ZA) before
attempting to install the update(s). If you disable the third-party
firewall, make certain that you enable the Windows Firewall!
