Microsoft Office7 OneNote hyperlinks not working

I was having problems with my pc - apparently a conflict with microsoft antivirus. Microsoft antivirus was uninstalled and AVG antivirus installed. Now none of my 'numerous' hyperlinks in OneNote work. When I click on the hyperlink their is no response. I disbled the AVG program but there was no improvement - still none of my hyperlinks work. I tried adding a hyperlink - it, too, did not work. It was suggested that maybe Office7 has some security that was set that is blocking the hyperlinks. Any suggestions? The sooner the better, I am really desperate!!
