I have a work process that concist of 19 forms that require the same
information but each form needs to go to different entities.

I was thinking InfoPath would allow me to create a form with only the
required pieces of information then automatically update the 19 forms.

Is InfoPath the right application to accomplish this task?

If not then what application is best?

Hi

It will not be InfoPath who will update the other forms, InfoPath will
let the user fill in the data in a siéple why and you have all the
advantages of data validation, error handling etc out of the box.

There are 2 solutions i see without having extra information on your
project:

A. 1 base InfoPath form, then a workflow to update the 19 others (ex
SharePoint + Nintex , many other ways are available)

B. 1 InfoPath Forms containing 19 views, as the data is the same, all
data is saved only once. Ofcourse, you have to pay attention to the
numberof data fields you will havem if you are using InfoPath Client
or InfoPath Forms
When opening the forms you add rules depending on the entity you show
the right view.

will you elaborate on the first solution?

If i understand and invision correctly the initial infopath form will
require Name, Address and Phone number.

After form is submitted workflow is activated then will update all 19 forms
with the initial form information - Name, address and phone number?
