Can you give us some more info,
- how many numbers must be filled in?
- Is the start of the sequence everytime the same or is it related to
some user input or other calculations?
If it is the same sequence everytime, just use the OOTB by clicking
the properties of the listbox and add the values
If it is related to userinput or other calculation, probably you
mustuse some code

I need to create a box where a unique number is created each time a user opens the form to fill it out. The number should look like the following: YearMonthDay-001
So it would read like this: 100101-001 which would be the first day of jan 2010. I tried using the current date feature and adding a number function to it but it rejected it. This is critical to the form's function. Any suggestions on how to do this would be great. I am new to InfoPath and have most of my form created except for this.
Thanks,
Debbie
