Something like what Microsoft uses.
Using Win2000 IIS 5.
I have searched Google etc and have not found one (free). Anybody else using
this.??
Raji
- email
- web
- nntp
- text mode (telnet, ANSI, WAP, etc)
- qwk/opx
- rime
- fidonet
- Windows GUI frontend
etc.
So once you set it up once, it open for multi-device clients.
Example:
http://www.winserver.com login as guest, pwd quest,
you will see mail forums accessable by the guest account
news://news.winserver.com You can login anonymous or using the guest
account.
telnet://bbs.winserver.com test mode access
and if you download our windows GUI frontend, you will the same forums.
So single setup, multiple device client interface.
It also has an SDK that can be used to access the mail system. Gateway
software use the SDK to gateway mail into other networks in a peer to peer
fashion (Fidonet, Rime, QWK, NNNTP). In addition, QWK/OPX allows you to
download mail to read offline using QWK/OPX mail readers.
