Is it an embedable font? If it's not you can have a real problem,
because the PDF will lose the font once it gets to the client as well.

As far as I know, different languages live in different spaces. If
your ASP code contains blocks of VBScript and of server-side
JavaScript, the variables from VBScript will not be available to the
Javascript code. I don't think mixing languages like that is a good
idea anyway.

While I've been supporting a Classic ASP app for a while, and have
also written some separate ASP.Net apps, my understanding is vague on
some larger issues
- What are the issues with mixing languages in Classic ASP? For
example, declaring variables, functions etc. in one language and
accessing/calling them in another?

Hello everyone, anibody has experience on this??
I have a web service that's used for export a rpt (Crystal Reports IX)
to a PDF file. This report has a barcode made with interleaved20f5
font.
When I use it from my development enviroment its works fine, but when
y use a test server in place of barcode font I see a replacement

FTP using ASP

Is it possible to use ASP to "FtpPut" or "FtpDelete" a file in an FTP
server ?
For example, in VBA I can do the following to "put" a file to an FTP
server (can something similar be done in ASP - I'm just doing a

In the latter case you are not quoting the URL, which is why a space causes
a problem. You should never be using spaces in URLs though.
In both case, use Server.URLEncode to encode each value, eg.
Response.Write "<a href=""?qencl=" & Server.URLEncode(qencl) & "&cat=" &
Server.URLEncode(qc) & ... """>"

If you register the domain with them, DomainsMadeEasy.com gives you free web
hosting with SQL Server. Ther inject an ad at the top of the page, but
that's easy enough to thwart (if one was of a mind to.) Their paid hosting
is cheap too, it starts at $4USD/month.
