Hello,

I am have multiple ips on a machine, by default, internet explorer uses
the default to surf the web. I would like to change the outbound ip IE uses
to one of the secondary ips.

for example, on the windows machine I have the ips...

1.1.1.1 - default ip
1.1.1.2
1.1.1.3

If I go to whatismyip.com, I can see that the ip I am using to surf the web
is 1.1.1.1, I would like to change it to 1.1.1.3.

Is there an API function to call that would llow me to specify my outbound
ip?

the remote host on the Internet will see your public IP address. Which is
not the same as your computer (private) IP. Unless you're a home user with
DSL modem connected right to your computer in which case your IP is
dynamically allocated by your ISP and there's no way you can change it.

Unless you're in a specific situation that you did not explain.

HTH,

Serge.
