Hello!

I made this one from an untitled painting by the Hawaiian artist, D. J.
Kamis. It's comprised of two JPG's and three GIF's. There were actually
twice as many waterfalls in the original painting, but it really chugged on
my PII 233 so I reduced the animation down to what you see here. The
waterfall & rocks are alpha filtered to produce a translucent wave effect.

I've been kinda preoccupied lately, since I quit smoking as of wednesday.
Today was the hardest day yet, so I went out and bought a box of nicotine
patches. They actually do help with the cravings!

I'll be back to creating more stationery as soon as I stop climbing the
walls LOL.

This is lovely.........I like greens as well as blues......<BG>
Good luck with the quitting....... I found it helped to carry a big glass of
water with me......and every time the cramps started on at me..... well it
felt like cramps......I would slowly sip water.......and teh urge would
leave for a bit..
Deep breaths helped too.....although I almost passed out from the first
few.......wasnt used to all that oxygen.

Another fabulous creation Lonnie........maybe a week in your Hawaiian Paradise would help the cravings some! Congratulations..anyone that has enough patience to make stationery like this has the strength to stay quit!

Swoosh! Into my Lonnie's Creations folder it goes.
Great Job and good luck with the no smoking. Very difficult especially if
you smoke at your computer as I do. Maybe replace the computer ashtray with
a bowl of chocolates!

I had to go to the doctor last monday morning because I hacked, gagged & coughed so hard that I bruised my right tonsil! The doc said it was inflamed and put me on antibiotics. After 23 years of sucking smoke into my lungs every day, I'm over it. I usually get at least 3 or 4 sinus infections a year and it has left these awful bags under my eyes. Not to mention how expensive cancer sticks are these days!

After just 4 days I'm already noticing how much whiter my teeth are and my sense of smell has improved!

Quitting smoking is a very personal decision, and won't work until you're really ready to quit. They say it usually takes 5 or more times of quitting before one actually stops smoking for good, but I'm hoping I succeed THIS time. I half-heartedly tried to quit one other time back in my 20's and managed to quit for 8 hours LOL! I thought I was gonna go crazy! I just can't keep sucking smoke into my lungs anymore. I've been doing it for 23 years now and it's taking it's toll on me. The patch DOES help a lot with the cravings!!!

You always amaze me with what you can do...each one better

Congrats on quitting smoking too.... I am a smoker and find
it so hard to get the will power..... I am weak...sighs....but don't
give in.... I know you can do it. So will i one day soon....

What a gorgeous post!! Good for you for stopping smoking. I tossed mine in the garbage one day and I am so glad. Now, the smell of cigarettes makes me ill. If you have a craving, make more stationery.<smile>

Do I ever love this one. How absolutely beautiful. And the music makes it
just perfect. So peaceful and calming. Thank you again for your artistry.
Looking forward to more.

Went to Hawaii as a 15 year old with my parents. That was several years
back. Now I've been married to my hubby for almost 35 years and he has never
been there. Our dream to one day go. Thanks for the armchair visits. Also
have your other stationary of the hawaiian beach scene. Love it.
