Well...
This is a little something different. I just felt like fiddling around a
little, so I started doing some fiddling and next thing ya know, it became a
whole blooming conglomeration.

And it didn't even turn out with the appearance I was trying to go
for...probably because of the silly movie I was watching at the same time I
was working on this...hehe.

I started by cutting out the lady from WET#2, then proceeded to re-create
her from ground zero. I was a bit over-hurried in a few sections, though, so
I didn't get quite the effect I was going for, and instead, she sort of
looks like she could use a shave. :x Once she was finished, I sized WET#1
to fit behind her and blurred it so it could fall into the distance.

The "matboard" was a simple border added in PSP and given a slight drop
shadow. The frame was constructed piece-by-piece using the corner piece that
I also used for the button-signature.

I didn't think I'd have a chance to try anything for this Weekend Theme, but
voila -- there it is.

:)

Good work, you have much more patience than I. Where does one get "corner
pieces?" I was thinking just today about how to make them from scratch.

Have a nice Memorial Day.

A couple years ago while browsing the web, I tripped across a site for a company that makes frames for photos, paintings, etc. They had a "catalog" of available frames showing just the corner of each and I stored those away thinking I might be able to use 'em someday for something. That was, unfortunately, before I started keeping very good track of where I gathered things from, so I've no idea how to reach that site again or even if it's still out there. Maybe a web search on "picture frames"?

Kewl, Bill!
If I wasn't remembering better, I'd say that was very nice of you.

I've been off work on vacation for almost two weeks.  In that time, I've mellowed slightly.  Wait 'til Tuesday evening and you see the old Curmudgeon.

I really got a kick out of seeing your textures.  Its kind of like a Rorschach test.  You look at the texture and then name it.  Be careful, we'll find out all your hidden personality traits.  [Had to look it up couldn't remember how to spell it.]

Rorschach test (rôr´shäk´, -shäKH´) noun
Psychology.
A projective test in which a subject's interpretations of ten standard inkblots are analyzed as a measure of emotional and intellectual functioning and integration.

[After Hermann Rorschach (1884-1922), Swiss psychiatrist.]
