Text over image in HTML Help?

I'm trying to get text superimposed on an image. I have two methods, both of which work in a browser (any of IE8, Firefox, or the browser window that appears when the HTML Help Workshop "View in browser" menu option is chosen), but neither works in HTML Help (HTML Help Workshop 4.74).

Hello Fol.ks, I am looking to see if there are any other command or operations that are permitted in a context sensitive helpf text file, other than .topic. I wanted to include window sizing and line breaks. I have tried .br, \n, \r\n, and even a blank line. There does not appear to be any pattern to the width of the popup window.... more »
