I try to deployed a GP add-in with Visual Studio tools.
My OS is Windows Vista Ultimate,and Visual Studio 2005 with SP1 and
SP1 For Vista

when I add a new component it throws an error:

We're also experiencing this problem. Not only does it occur on Vista, but
also on Windows 2000, and XP when you are using certain themes.
