Is there a way in Great Plains 10 to electronically submit 1099 Misc
information to the IRS? Say some posts that it was in version 9, but
am hoping it got added into 10.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the functionality isn't in GP (version 9
or 10) to electronically submit 1099 data to the IRS.

We use a 3rd party package called Account Ability (www.1099-software.com) to
transmit the data. We download the GP information into Account Ability, print
the 1099s, then transmit it to the IRS. Works OK for us.

Bud is correct, this is not possible 'out-of-the-box' in any version of GP
that's currently out. If you'd looking for a solution, besides the product
Bud mentioned, you can also look at Greenshades: http://greenshades.com/.
