Hello,
I am attempting to add samples of songs that I wrote to my unpublished
website. I have created a folder and imported the song file into the folder
and created a hyperlink on my page to the song sample. When I preview the
page I get a broken link. What am I missing here? Thanks for feedback!

When you did all that did you have your FP web Site open first
- and publish the site (changes) using FP

I was working offline while creating the hyperlink and importing the file. I
since have published it and still got the broken link.

Hi David,

I figured it out but I would like to keep it all on the same page
preferrably with no popups. The web page is:
http://www.thesingingservantfw.com/selah/music.html

Look at "She's the One" especially.

Thank you,

Remove target="_blank" from your hyperlinks to get rid of the new window
when you click the link.

Is there a way to embed a player so listeners will only have to click on the
track samples to play them and not have to download another player?
Thanks in advance.

No, each user must have a player that can read your media file format installed.

You may want to consider making your tracks into flash files.

Can you give me a link to information on how to create music in a flash file?

Thanks

I am not sure what the steps are to creating a Flash files, as I don't use Flash, it was just a
music site I can across last year that had all of their music files stored in .swf format.

Thanks, I'll have to do some research. But that sounds like a great idea,
I've also seen music stored that way.

Thank you
