Good morning!

I have a client who has a current host who does not have FP extensions
installed on the server. The only functionality I'm using on this site
that would need the FP extensions is a simple mouseover effect on the
buttons. Anyone know how to alter the FP code for mouseovers so it will
work without FP extensions? Or how to create mouseover effect with
other programming code that I can add to my code (JavaScript or
whatever)?

I know that I could call the host to see if they would install FP
extensions but this is "one of those clients" and if I could resolve the
problem on my end without having to get another party (host) to take
action, it would enable me to control the situation so there are no
boo-boos. Just for my edification, do FP extensions only work on NT
servers, not Unix?

Thanks!

My site is hosted on a Unix server and I have FP extensions. Hope this
helps.

Mouseovers are a javascript function you can do independent of FP extensions - see http://webreference.com/js/column1/

Thanks Stefan. This looks like a really good resource.
