So is upgrading from EW v2 to EW v3 "worth it"?

Folks,
Now that things have died down and the SP1 has "shipped" lets revisit the
question of EW upgrades.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't like the slow FTP but since I am not using
it (I use the FireFTP add-on in Foxfire).

I don't use graphics programs very often although I suppose I should learn
to. I haven't seen an EW extension I can't live without.

I really can't see how the superpreview helps me all that much except maybe
I can't get mine to work?

So what features make this version a "must" upgrade for most people?

Thanks,
Tom

Support for root relative links and the "Use Windows' Colours".

SuperPreview is a "must-have" tool - You can see the different rendering in
IE6, IE7, IE8 and FireFox, and work out what needs to be changed in CSS to
make them effectively the same.

Read my comment on SuperPreview down in the Walther R thread of 12/01 2009
If you not already read it. I don't think SuperPreview is a factor to count
on.
There are not much other to talk about than this Super.......
I had this EW3 on a machine for a trial. Well, Super..... is probably a bit
different
to the trial one I had running for a few days. But you can't see if a flyout
menu using
a javascript runs o.k. I don't understand why making a half usable tool.

I spend more time in Visual Studio than Expression, so Expression is
more of a design tool for me. If I did not have MSDN, I am not sure I
would have plunked down the money for EW3.

The major feature(s) I can see utilizing surround publishing and site
management, which I do not use. If I were publishing from EW, I would
definitely upgrade. This is more than just faster FTP, btw.

I do like the SuperPreview, but find that I use it so seldom. It is nice
during intial design, however.

One possible thing I can think of is the improvements surrounding rich
content. The Silverlight story in EW2 sucked. It is much better in EW3,
as is the Flash story.

The only other thing I can think of that might be compelling is the
PhotoShop import, although I have not used it personally. Since I am an
avid PhotoShop user, it makes sense to me, however.

Hope this helps.

Peace and Grace,
