Does anyone know if it is possible to create a server side rule or policy to
only allow Calendar and Contacts to be synced for mobile phones? Right now we
have ActiveSync Disabled for the majority of company. My management has asked
if we can allow for Calendar and Contacts ONLY to be synced to users mobile
phones. Everything that I have found so far states that ActiveSync is an all
or nothing deal. I know that when you sync your phone with Exchange for the
first time it asks you what you want to sync i.e. mail,contacts,calendar,and
tasks. However, I have yet to find anything on the server side to only allow
for Calendar and Contacts to sync to phones.
Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.
