Hi all,

I work in a little software company with an Exchange 2007 running in a
Windows 2008 Server. I wnat to program some kind of script for a
ticketing mailbox. The idea is to have a set of folders, for each
programmer. When an email arrives, add a ticket number to the e-mail
name, reply it with an automatic response, and follow the state of the
email with alerts and a closing procedure.

I don't know where to start. I not asking for the complete solution,
just something to start with. Any idea?

You would be better served to look at third party solution. Connectwise,
Autotask and Karisoft are few, but there are many other PSA providers. Most
have trial periods and they are cost effective for servicing clients. They
also integrate with Exchange allowing for email/ticketing requests and
follow up.
