Hi,
I'm working to install an Edge Transport Server (ETS) for my Exchange
2010 Hub Transport Server (HTS). The ETS is in my DMZ and I can RDP
to it. The ETS is installed. I can see the outside world from this
server. I have added my internal HTS to the ETS local hosts file
(c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts). Inside a DOS box I can ping
the HTS and the name properly resolves to the internal IP address.
I have installed the telnet client feature and can telnet to other
hosts. I am not able to telnet to port 25, port 80, nor other ports on
the HTS. It seems as if the HTS is not allowing connections from the
DMZ subnet. I've checked the firewall, even turning off the firewall
briefly to test, and have not found a solution.
Suggestions on what I can try?
Mike
