We have an enterprise RUS in parent domain and a RUS for the child domain in
2003.
And you dont have a domain RUS for the parent domain.
Thats what that error is telling you.

You can ignore it or create a domain RUS so it doent throw the warning

You dont :)
Once Exchange 2003 is removed from the org, you'll delete all those
RUS'.
If you dont have any mail-enabled objects in the root, you never
really needed that RUS anyway.
Going forward, use only the 2007 tools to mail-enable objects and
you'll be ok.
