Hi,

Is it possible to not sync the e-mail to a PDA but to sync al the other
stuff. So calender, contacts and tasks are no problem. To sync e-mail to the
users PDA is prohibited.
Exchange server is 2003.

Thx.

Not that I know of. Exchange 2007 has many more policies you can implement
from Exchange 2003 but none to eliminate the inbox from syncing. Can I ask
why its prohibited to sync mail with PDA's? If OWA is enabled then user can
still gain access to his inbox from the PDA web browser.

Hi John,

This company has to deal with sensitive/medical information about clients.
The management does not want their users to have this info on their mobile
phones in case someone looses its phone.
I know i can swipe these devices remote so i will tell them the
possibilities.
Thx for confirmation about this issue.

Yes, Exchange 2007 offers more security policies such as device encryption
for mobile devices so you might want to review at some point.
