We have been seeing our Exchange 2007 server is re-sending old messages
that were once sent out months ago. These are not coming form the clients
but from the server. Has anyone seen this before and have a resolution for
it.

Thank you, Gerry

Have you verified this by using Message Tracking center?

I have seen similar scenario with Exchange 03 which was, the Messages could
be tuck in the temp tables, and worth trying to attempt to clean them up on
your 07 server. I have also witness AV program caused similar issues.

Make sure your server is patched and have all recent updates.

good luck
