I would like to know if I change the IP address of the Configuration DC what do I need to do in Exchange 2003 to make it work correctly. I would like to know the things that I need to watch out for if it breaks. Thank you in advance.

If you want to watch what's going on, turn up diagnostic logging on (I believe it is) MSExchangeAL DSAccess. Or is it Directory Access? Something like that. Then watch event log entry 2080 that comes out every fifteen minutes to verify that the Exchange server can contact the DC. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .

If your SMTP Connector is configured to use a smart host, you'll need to change that. If your SMTP virtual server is configured to use a smart host, remove that and create an SMTP Connector with a smart host that points to the new ISP's SMTP server(s). -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .
