Exchange 2010 Archive with Outlook 2007?

Hello,

I have been looking for an age to find an answer and have set up a test
server to try it out - but i cannot get it to work or find a definate
yes no answer: Does Outlook 2007 support the new archive functionallity
in Exchange 2010?

Thank you for the replys - also, has anybody got a compatibility chart
for the different versions of Outlook with Exchange 2010?

We've implemented this as it was a particularly attractive feature along with a whole host of others.
Alas Outlook 2007 does not support viewing the online archive. Only Office beta 2010 and owa. Worst still, our findings are that when searching mail you can either search the online archive or search your mailbox not 'all mail items'. I emailed a Microsoft exchange developer and got this;

Unofficially, the Exchange team is looking into it. However, I doubt the patch will be available before Office 2010 ships since as far as I know, they haven't even started coding the afore mentioned patch.
