Running Exchange 2007 SP1 and I have mutliple questions regarding synching
with various smartphones over-the-air. We have a Blackberry server in place
for the BB users, that synchs Calendar, Email, Tasks, Contacts & Notes. We
have an assortment of other smartphones, Palm Pre, HTC Touch and some older
Treo's. From what I've seen, these other phones are synching everything
listed above for the BB's EXCEPT the Notes, which some people use alot.
This happens with Windows Mobile 6.1 and with the Palm webOS. Is this an
Activesync issue or Exchange 2007 issue? Are others seeing this and if so,
what is the fix or work around?

There is no fix native to Exchange. Exchange Activesync does not support
Notes synchronization although its been a requested feature add since
Exchange 2003.

ARGGHHH!! Seriously?? What in the world are the software engineers
thinking? This seems a very basic function which alot of my users utilize.
At least my Blackberry users are covered. Maybe this will force some more
conversions from other phone platforms to our BES. Thx for the information.

Well, I would agree somewhat. I have over 50 customers and only one uses
notes in Outlook and that is just a few users. So by my numbers, its not a
heavily used feature in Outlook from my experience.
