Hi,

are there any disadvantages/known problems with a 2 server SCR solution
(each server will own mailbox/CAS/HUB role)?

Most designs are recommending to install HUB/CAS role on different servers

It's for a small company (about 100 users) with small budget

I also know that we have to failover the SG manually via powershell-scripts

best regards borris

Since the SCR technology doesn't use the MSCS components (WFC in 2008
obviously) you don't have to have separate boxes for CAS/HT. It would
work fine for you.

Why not just do a CCR given that you have two servers with all the
rolse installed?

Due to the completely trivial and
barely-worth-mentioning-but-I'll-do-it-anyway fact that you can't put
CAS/HT on a CCR MBX.
Just sayin'.

Oh, that little detail.
