Exchange 2007 SCC. 2 Nodes. A/P

SAN Admin assigned me 2 new drives and my Windows Disk Management sees it.
And I can access it via My Computer on my active node.

When I try to add these new drives through my Cluster Admin Console on
active node:

New Resource > Resource Type Physical Disk > Possible Owners I have both
Nodes there and click Next and under available resoruces I do not see these 2
new drives there?????

Advsie Please.

Thank you

I noticed if I shut down the passive node and then the active node sees the
new drives. But when I go add them they don't point to the corect drive
instead they point to C:\ Drive under the parameters tab??????

Hi,

Windows 2003? If so log off your RDP session and then log back on after you
have activated the disks in Disk Management.

Cluster Administrator won't see them otherwise (guess it's an old bug).

I will have the SAN guys re-do the drives.

As I can access the drives from both nodes ... technically I should only be
able to access it from active node and not from passive.

Oliver .. I went ahead and created the resource again... even it did not show
the new drives in the avaialble resources and I clicked next and finish. It
mapped itself to correct drives. these physical disk resources don't have
any dependency ... I think this is normal....??????? As I looked at my other
physical disk resources they don't have any dependency either.
