Outlook Web Access - most attachments do not open

We recently upgraded to Exchange 2007 on Windows 2008. Since that time, most
Word documents and Excel will not open. Excel gives an unreadable document
error and Word has "Word was unable to read this document. It may be
corrupt. try one of more of the following *Open and Repair the file"....
The same documents open fine in Outlook 2007 but not in the OWA version.
This happens in both IE7 and IE8.
